Dated: July 13, 2021. The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for a blanket purchase order for carpet mat rental and service for a two (2) year period with a one-year option to renew. Pricing must be firm during term of the contract.
Unit prices are requested FOB for all locations: City of Rochester Hills, Department of Public Service Garage, 511 East Auburn Road, Rochester Hills; City Hall, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills; Earl E. Borden Park, 1400 E. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills and Fire Station # 1, 1111 Horizon Court, Rochester Hills, Rochester Hills, MI. All prices quoted must be firm for both years.

Questions regarding the solicitation must be made in writing prior to July 20, 2021 by 11:30 a.m. E.S.T., at which time a response will be prepared and forwarded to all vendors as an amendment, or an addendum to the quotation, if such information would be of significance to uninformed proposers. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Only the person designated above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their Quote. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to firms regarding their Quote from other persons are to be directed to the employee designated above for appropriate review and response.
Specifications:
The City wishes to establish a blanket purchase order with the selected vendor for carpet mat rental and service on a bi-weekly basis. The current contract expires August 31, 2021.
The mats are to be black, non-skid carpet mats and non-skid mats for tile entryways. The mats should not roll move, bunch or cause tripping hazards when walked on or across. All floor mats shall be clean, fresh looking, in good condition, the same color and mat type through the City, in specified sizes and as approved by the City.
Unit rental cost of each floor mat shall include the cleaning and exchanging on a bi-weekly basis. Selected vendor shall deliver and install clean, dry floor mats, on a bi-weekly basis at the same time as when floor mats are removed.
Each vendor may be asked to provide a sample of the carpet mat proposed prior to selection.
The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of mats at each location at any time during the term of this contract.
