Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for the one-time purchase of various water rescue products to be used as prizes for the City’s annual Lifeguard Competition to be held at the City’s Thelma Spencer Park location.
Unit prices are requested, FOB City of Rochester Hills, Thelma Spencer Park, 3701 John R Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.

Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Only the person designated above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their Quote. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to firms regarding their Quote from other persons are to be directed to the employee designated above for appropriate review and response.
Scope of Work: The City has a certain budget to work with on this project. After prices are received the City will determine what products can be purchased with the funds budgeted.
The City wishes to purchase three (3) of each product listed below (depending on cost of products): • Spineboard • With straps • Pool extractions • CJ Board or approved equal
• Kayaks with paddles • Must be at least 12’ long and 24”-28” wide • Must be stable (will be used in rescue situations) • No seat backers required • Must be an Ocean Kayak (Rescue) or approved equal
• Ice Rescue Sled • Dimensions: 55” x 24” x 6” • Removable snow/ice rails • Rotomolded Polyethylene Hollow core • Vent/drain plug • Must be an RIVERx 2010 Rescue Board or approved equal
• Rescue tubes • 54” with shoulder straps and clips
• Megaphone – 25” Plastic • Lightweight, waterproof molded white plastic. • Rolled edge on large end • Metal mouthpiece and handle
All products must include shipping and be delivered to the Thelma Spencer Park location.
The City requires the products to be delivered on or before June 1, 2010.
