Summary of Specifications:
·The City of Rochester Hills wishes to award exclusivity in sales of glow products at Borden Park (within the limits of the Park property- map attached) during the Festival of the Hills activities (6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.). ·Sales are limited to Wednesday, July 1, 2009, the night of the fireworks, unless that date is rescheduled by the City of Rochester Hills. ·The awarded company shall supply, and all of its employees shall wear, identifying shirts and name badges. Employees shall be neat and professional. No smoking is allowed in front of the public. ·The awarded company shall provide only high quality glow and light-up products to the City of Rochester Hills patrons. The City reserves the right to request samples of the glow products prior to award. ·The awarded company shall provide a certificate of insurance to the City of Rochester Hills prior to entering into a contract as described in Appendix A, attached hereto. ·The City of Rochester Hills will make reasonable efforts to keep and remove illegal glow product vendors from the park. The awarded vendor may sell glow products outside of the park during the Festival activities. The City cannot control glow vendors outside of the designated area. ·Vendor may set up on site anytime after 12:00 (noon) on the day of the event. ·The need for booth space must be identified prior to the event and will be assigned on an availability basis. ·Vendor’s trucks shall be removed from the Festival stage area to a designated parking area by no later than 8:30 p.m. A designated parking area that can also serve as a work area can be arranged with the Festival staff prior to the event date. ·The City of Rochester Hills reserves the right to cancel the event and re-schedule without penalty. ·The City of Rochester Hills reserves the right to reject any and all quotations.
