Dated, July 9, 2014: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from experienced and qualified firms to provide geotechnical engineering and construction material testing services. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or through the MITN website until 3:00 P.M. Local Time, TUESDAY, AUGUST 5, 2014 at which time the name of submitting proposers will be read.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of bid documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bid documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select City Services, Purchasing and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
Overview
The City of Rochester Hills is accepting professional services for geotechnical engineering and construction material testing services for three (3) consecutive years (2015, 2016, 2017), with an option to renew for two (2) additional years (2018, 2019). Services will be administered on a per project basis and will be scheduled per the direction of City of Rochester Hills representatives.
The City is interested in a consultant that, at a minimum, has experience in the areas as described in the Scope of Work. Knowledge of the City’s codes and ordinances is beneficial. A twenty-four (24) hour response time on services is requested.
