Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations from qualified companies to establish a contract for Fire Suppression Systems Inspection, Testing and Maintenance at various buildings owned by the City for a period of two (2) years; the City reserves the right to exercise an option to renew for an additional 1-year period. The purpose of this document is to ultimately enter into a contract with one or more qualified firms in order to provide the necessary services and meet City demands. The Fire Suppression System Maintenance pertains to the maintenance of the sprinkler system. The City’s existing contract expires on March 31, 2016. A Voluntary Walk-Through will be held on February 23, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. beginning at the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309 to become familiar with the premises specified, provide a forum for questions/answers and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications. This will be the only opportunity for contractors to observe the Fire Suppression Systems in place. Attendance at the Walk-Through is not mandatory in order to submit a quote. Questions are to be directed in writing to Keri J. Bright, CPPB, Purchasing Analyst; questions regarding the quotation must be made prior to February 25, 2016 @ 11:30 a.m., at which time a response will be prepared and forwarded to all vendors as an amendment, or an addendum to the quotation, if such information would be of significance to uninformed vendors. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered.
