Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified and experienced firms to assist the Building Department with fire suppression & fire alarm plan review and inspection services for commercial and industrial projects in accordance with the State of Michigan construction codes for a two (2) year term (2010 & 2011) to expire on December 31, 2011. Due to workload, the City wishes to enter into a contract with one or more qualified firms in order to provide the necessary services and meet departmental demands. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or submitted online through the MITN website until 3:00 p.m. local time, on October 14, 2009, at which time and place proposers names will be publicly read aloud. The City prefers documents scanned and submitted online via the MITN website be in Adobe pdf format. Late submittals will not be accepted. No faxed proposals will be accepted. All information requested herein must be submitted with the proposal prior to the due date; failure to do so may result in rejection of the proposal as non-responsive and/or incomplete. The City reserves the right to postpone the due date for its own convenience. Proposals are considered received when in the possession of the Purchasing Division at the due date and time. All correspondence or questions from interested firms regarding this proposal shall be directed to the attention of Marilyn Paulsen-Tomaszewski, CPPB, Purchasing Analyst, Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan, 48309, 248-841-2539.
