The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations from qualified professional electrical contractors to establish a contract to Re-Wire the Overhead Doors located at the City’s Department of Public Services (DPS) Garage. The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, materials, supplies, necessary insurance, expertise, trades, supervision and competent, suitable and qualified personnel to perform the work required.

A Voluntary Walk-Through will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the foyer of the DPS Garage, 511 E. Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307 for contractors to become familiar with the premises specified; the condition of the work surfaces and adjoining areas; to obtain measurements, provide a forum for questions/answers and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications. There will
not be another opportunity for vendors to visit the locations. ATTENDANCE AT THE WALK-THROUGH IS NOT-MANDATORY IN ORDER TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL
. Contractors not in attendance at the Walk-Through will be eligible to submit a quote on this project. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to determine and provide all materials required and incorporate all such items in their cost proposal.

brightk@rochesterhills.org or by fax 248.608.8178; all questions must be in writing prior to Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 11:30 a.m., at which time a response will be prepared and posted on MITN as an addendum, if such information would be of significance to uninformed vendors. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Vendors are specifically directed to not contact other City staff; unauthorized contact of any City Department employee may result in rejection of submittal. It shall be the proposer’s responsibility to make inquiry as to changes or addenda issued. All such changes or addenda shall become a part of the contract and all proposers shall be bound by such changes or addenda. Addendums will be posted on the MITN system.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes quotation documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of quotation documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain quotation documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. www.mitn.info to link to the MITN website. Final quotation results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
The submission of a Quote hereunder shall be considered evidence that the proposer is satisfied with respect to the conditions to be encountered, and the character, quantity and quality of the work to be performed. All quotation prices shall remain in effect for at least ninety (90) days from the date of the quotation opening to allow for the award of the quote. If chosen as the successful vendor, the prices quoted shall remain firm through the term of the contract.
