The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for a blanket purchase order for inspection and repair of the City’s overhead bridge cranes. The blanket will be for a period of three years and the pricing must be guaranteed for the entire term of the blanket.
Unit prices are requested, FOB City of Rochester, Department of Public Service Maintenance Facility, 511 E. Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, some City processes have been affected and as such, are requiring adjustment to our normal processes to accommodate. Only those person(s) designated above are authorized to seek additional information from prospective vendors regarding their quote proposals. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to vendors regarding their quote proposals from all other persons are to be directed to those City employee(s) designated above for appropriate review and response. All inquiries shall be made in writing on or before Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM EST, in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the quotes are due. Inquires received after that date will not be considered.
As this quotation is being made available by electronic means, the vendor accepts full responsibility to ensure that no changes are made to the quotation documents. In the event of conflict between a version of the quotation submitted by vendor and the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division shall govern.
Specifications
The blanket will cover the bi-annual inspection program furnishing labor and equipment to inspect, lubricate and make adjustments on the overhead bridge cranes to comply with OSHA requirements. Listed below are the number of units and type of cranes to be serviced.
- (1) Unit – Type: Bridge Crane, trolley motor, radio controlled; Installer: Michigan Crane; Capacity: 7.5 ton
- (1) Unit - Type: Bridge Crane, trolley motor, pendant controlled; Installer: Michigan Crane; Capacity: 7.5 ton
All inspections and tests shall be in full compliance with applicable OSHA standards, rules and regulations. Certification from the vendor that all testing is in full compliance with all applicable OSHA standards, rules and regulations shall be furnished to the City upon completion of the testing. A copy of inspection documents will be provided to the City to maintain in the department’s safety records manual. These documents will list in detail all items inspected and their conditions.
