The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for a two-year blanket purchase order for Miscellaneous Tools and Hardware Products. All products must be contractor grade and quality. Unit prices are requested, FOB City of Rochester Hills, 511 East Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. If you are interested in providing a quotation, please fill in the following information and fax or mail back by: Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Only the person designated above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their Quote. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to firms regarding their Quote from other persons are to be directed to the employee designated above for appropriate review and response. Purpose: The purpose and intent of this request for quotation is to establish a firm fixed price contract with a qualified Contractor to provide a ready “as required” source for contractor quality products such as, tools and hardware. Most products will be requested delivered to the City’s Department of Public Service Garage, located at 511 East Auburn Road. On occasion, the City may send a representative to the selected vendors place of business to pickup items as needed, therefore it is requested that the chosen vendor be within a reasonable driving distance from the Rochester Hills Department of Public Service Garage, 511 East Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI, 48307 Quality of Products: Bidders shall state the first-line quality contractor manufacturer’s brand offered for all items listed on the Quote Form. First-line contractor quality shall be defined as the top-of –the-line manufacturer’s product offered, not the second or third choice. The City will not accept any grade other than first-line contractor quality. Brand names have been supplied, where available. Vendors are to quote on the name brands specified. If not able to quote on brand name supplied, vendors must provide proof of compatibility with their brand and the brand required.
