Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting for sealed proposals from qualified proposers of a solution for concrete floor applications at two City locations: 1) the flooring in the Museum’s Calf Barn, and 2) sections of the flooring in the Department of Public Service (DPS) garage. Proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, (Lower Level) Rochester Hills, MI 48309, until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m. Local Time, Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at which time and place names of proposers will be publically read aloud. A Voluntary Pre-Proposal Site Visit has been scheduled for Friday, February 24, 2017 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Local Time at the Museum’s Calf Barn located at the Van Hoosen Museum, 950 Romeo Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48306. The site visit will then continue on to the DPS building located at 511 E. Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307 to view the areas in the garage. This will be the only opportunity for proposer to view the project areas. The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid/proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select Business, Purchasing/Bids, then Quick Links and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award. Please note if you are submitting proposal through the MITN website, the City of Rochester Hills is capable of accepting documents in .docx, .pdf, .jpg, .tif or rtf formats. Due to security risks associated with some file formats, the following file types are not able to be opened by the City: DOC, DOCM, DOT, XLS, XLSM, XLSB, XLT, PPT, PPTM, RTF. All of these formats can contain malicious code. The City is also not able to open ZIP files at this time. Alternatively you could convert these files to PDF.
