Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills Building Department is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide building plan review services for commercial and industrial projects in accordance with the State of Michigan construction codes for a 2-year term (2010 and 2011). Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or submitted online through the MITN website until 3:00 p.m. local time, on October 15, 2009, at which time and place proposers names will be publicly read aloud. The City prefers documents scanned and submitted online via the MITN website be in Adobe pdf format. Late submittals will not be accepted. No faxed proposals will be accepted. All information requested herein must be submitted with the proposal prior to the due date; failure to do so may result in rejection of the proposal as non-responsive and/or incomplete. The City reserves the right to postpone the due date for its own convenience. Proposals are considered received when in the possession of the Purchasing Division at the due date and time. All correspondence or questions from interested firms regarding this proposal shall be directed to the attention of Marilyn Paulsen-Tomaszewski, CPPB, Purchasing Analyst, Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan, 48309, 248-841-2539. Questions regarding the proposal must be made in writing prior to October 6, 2009, @ 11:30 a.m. Only the person designated above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their proposals.
