Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids for Calcium Chloride will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, Purchasing Division/Fiscal Team, at 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309 until 3:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, December 18, 2008 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be in conformance with the documents. The Bid Form must be completed entirely and submitted with the Bid. The bidder shall be required to meet the City’s insurance requirements and shall maintain such coverage until the project is complete. All bids shall be opened publicly and read aloud at the date and time specified. Each bid shall be recorded together with the name of the bidder. Bids shall be in accordance with the Purchasing Ordinance and the requirements of this notice in order to be deemed “responsive.” PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS The City is seeking bids on calcium chloride. Bid includes the transportation, materials and application of product. The complete specifications for the calcium chloride are enclosed for your review. Prior to each application the City will provide the selected vendor with street map clearly marked with location to be sprayed.
