RFP-RH-22-006 - Abatement and Demolition Services - Residential and Accessory Structures

Dated Tuesday, April 25, 2022: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from
experienced and qualified firms to provide demolition services for three (3) residential homes and
accessory structures and one (1) garage located on Eastern Avenue and other related services.
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division, 1000
Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 through the MITN website until EXACTLY
3:00 P.M. Local Time, TUESDAY, MAY 17, 2022, via electronic proposal submission ONLY
at which time the name and addresses ONLY of submitting proposers will be publicly read via
Zoom Teleconference.
A Voluntary Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 @ 1:00 p.m. beginning
at the site located at 2970 Eastern Avenue, Rochester Hills, Michigan, 48309 in order for potential
proposers to become familiar with the premises specified, provide a forum for questions/answers
and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications. Contractors not in
attendance at the pre-proposal meeting will still be eligible to propose on this project. All questions
are to be in writing directed to Lisa Cummins, CPPB, Procurement Manager, by email at
cumminsl@rochesterhills.org or by fax to 248.608.8178.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some City processes have been affected and as such, are requiring adjustment to the normal processes. It is important that you read all the information to ensure you submit your bid response to the City in the correct manner. Please ensure all documents are signed.  If you are interested in providing a bid, please read the document in its entirety and submit the requested information and proper forms and upload to the MITN website. Electronic submission through the MITN website will ONLY be accepted. Hardcopy, emailed, faxed and late submittals will not be accepted.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid/proposal documents from the Purchasing
Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of
bid/proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only
those vendors who obtain bid/proposal documents from either the Purchasing Division or the
MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is
issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the
City website at www.rochesterhills.org, click on City Government, Departments, Purchasing, Bid
Opportunities and link to MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN
website after award.  THE CITY OF ROCHESTER HILLS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS.
Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the proposal.
