Summary of Specifications:
The survey and subsequent drawings and legal descriptions shall comply with all of the minimum standards and requirements of the State of Michigan Act 132, Certified Surveys. Land surveying services must be provided by, or under, the direction of a professional land surveyor who is currently licensed in the State of Michigan. The work shall include the completion of an “ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey” in accordance with the current minimum standard requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey as adopted by American Land Title Association and National Society of Professional Surveyors. The ALTA survey is for the purpose of acquisition and combination of parcels: 15-15-328-001, 15-15-327-007, 15-15-327-001 and 15-15-327-010. The Surveyor will provide the description and survey of the combined parcel as one. A commitment for title insurance will be provided to the surveyor for the preparation of this survey. In addition to the minimum standard requirements, proposers shall provide a cost proposed for the following: 1. Concrete Monuments a minimum of 4” in diameter 36” long with a minimum of ½” solid iron or steel bar placed (or a reference monument or witness to the corner) at all corners of the boundary of the property, unless already marked or referenced by an existing monument or witness to the corner and at all angle points along intermediate shoreline traverses. 2. ½” solid iron rods with a minimum length of 18” shall be placed at intermediate points (not necessarily midway) on exterior boundary lines where the property line lengths are greater that 400 feet (length between exterior boundary corners or other survey points on the line). 3. ½” solid iron rods with a minimum length of 18” shall be placed on the exterior boundary line at or near the intersection of the exterior boundary line with the top of slope and the toe of slope where the slope is 1 on 5 or greater and the vertical difference in elevation is greater that 20 feet. 4. In addition to the minimum requirements ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey drawing, the Surveyor shall provide a digital drawing file of the boundary survey based on NAD1983, 1986 adjustment, State Plane Michigan South, International Feet . The successful proposer shall provide all equipment, instrumentation, transportation, supplies and personnel to perform the requested services. The awarded proposer must have the capacity to immediately proceed with work and accomplish it in a timely manner. Project completion shall be 30 days after Notice to Proceed.
