The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from qualified and experienced companies to provide 2017 Landscaping Services for a period of one (1) year; the City reserves the right to exercise an option to renew for two additional 1-year periods. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or submitted online through the MITN website until 3:00 p.m. local time, on March 8, 2017 at which time and place proposers names will be publicly read aloud. Faxed and Late proposals will not be accepted. The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from qualified and experienced companies to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, services and expertise required to perform landscaping services, including lawn mowing and shrub trimming, at various City locations for the 2017 season; the City reserves the right to exercise an option to renew for two additional 1-year periods. Boulevards are a highly visible component of the suburban landscape of the City of Rochester Hills being observed daily by tens of thousands of passing motorists. The general appearance of the boulevards reflects the level of the City’s commitment to maintaining the quality of its outdoor environment and natural features for the benefit of its citizens and further enhances property values. The City seeks a responsible contractor to provide a high level of maintenance for the proper landscape environment at City owned properties in order to preserve the citizens’ investment in these properties. A neat, clean appearance, along with correct shrub trimming, is required of a company submitting a proposal for this work. Work will commence on or about April 25th and continue until approximately November 15th, weather dependent. Proposer will be responsible for carefully examining the proposed work sites and to judge for themselves the nature of the work to be done. Proper equipment and care shall be used to prevent unnecessary damage to turf areas, trees and/or mulch areas around trees, shrubs and/or flowerbeds. The submission of a proposal hereunder shall be considered evidence that the proposer is satisfied with respect to the conditions to be encountered and the character, quantity and quality of the work to be performed.
