Summary of Specifications:
Dated August 14, 2014: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to perform Snow Removal Services for the 2014-2015 Winter Season, including plowing and salting for parking lots, drive areas, sidewalks and steps; the City reserves the right to exercise an option to renew for the 2015-2016 Winter Season. The City reserves the right to split or abstract any or all proposals and award multiple contracts. The City reserves the right to postpone the due date for its own convenience. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or submitted online through the MITN website until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m. local time, on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2014, at which time and place proposers’ names will be publicly read aloud. Late submittals will not be accepted. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Please visit the City of Rochester Hills’ website at www.rochesterhills.org for Construction Updates/Alerts and allow adequate time when delivering items to the City. The Contractor shall be responsible for all area measurements of the parking lots and walkways in order to determine the cost for snow/ice removal and the amount of required salt. Because the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) is a secure facility, Contractor’s are REQUIRED to report in and provide identification at the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, 750 Barclay Circle, Rochester Hills, Michigan BEFORE approaching the gate.
