Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide Plant Health and Lawn Care Services for the 2012 Season; the City reserves the right to exercise an option to renew for two additional 1-year periods. Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or submitted online through the MITN website until 3:00 p.m. local time, on April 3, 2012 at which time and place the names of proposers will be publicly read aloud. Faxed proposals and late proposals will not be accepted. Please visit the City of Rochester Hills’ website at www.rochesterhills.org for Construction Updates/Alerts and allow adequate time when delivering items to the City. Questions are to be directed to Marilyn Paulsen-Tomaszewski, CPPB, Purchasing Analyst, Phone: 248.841.2539; paulsenm@rochesterhills.org questions regarding the proposal must be made in writing prior to March 27, 2012 @ 11:30 a.m., at which time a response will be prepared and forwarded to all vendors as an amendment, or an addendum to the RFP, if such information would be of significance to uninformed proposers. Vendors are specifically directed to not contact other City staff; unauthorized contact of any City Department employee may result in rejection of submittal. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Note: Several of the locations and some custom blend applications have been revised from prior years resulting in a substantial change in previous scope of work.
