Summary of Specifications:
The Scope of Work includes: drainage structure adjust/recondition/reconstruct; selective installation of under drains; recondition of existing aggregate base; HMA pavement milling & removal; placement of 4” HMA; selective concrete curb & gutter removal and replacement; selective subgrade undercutting; restoration; and other miscellaneous items of work. The replacement pavement section consists of 2” HMA, 13A over 2” HMA, 3C over existing reconditioned aggregate base. (See Appendix C for Geotechnical Reports and Appendix B for proposed pavement cross-section). Part B - Mount Oak, Sherwood Forest, and Sherwood Drives The Scope of Work includes: drainage structure adjust/recondition/reconstruct; selective installation of under drains; recondition of existing aggregate base; HMA pavement milling & removal; placement of 4” HMA; selective concrete curb & gutter removal and replacement; selective subgrade undercutting; restoration; and other miscellaneous items of work. The replacement pavement section consists of 2-1/2” HMA, 13A over 2-1/2” HMA, 3C over 8” 21AA aggregate base (crushed limestone) over 12” crushed concrete aggregate (1”x3”). Part C - Birch Tree and Birch Tree Court The Scope of Work includes: drainage structure adjust/recondition/reconstruct; selective installation of under drains; recondition of existing aggregate base; HMA pavement milling & removal; placement of 3” HMA; selective concrete curb & gutter removal and replacement; selective subgrade undercutting; restoration; and other miscellaneous items of work. The replacement pavement section consists of 3” HMA, 13A [2 lifts] over existing reconditioned aggregate base. (See Appendix C for Geotechnical Reports and Appendix B for proposed pavement cross-section). Part D - Major Road Portion (Brewster Road – Tienken to Dutton) The Scope of Work includes: drainage structure adjust/recondition/reconstruct; installation of selective under drains; reconditioning of existing aggregate base; HMA pavement milling and removal; placement of 5” HMA; selective concrete curb & gutter removal and replacement; restoration; and other miscellaneous items of work. The replacement pavement section consists of 2” HMA, 13A over 2” HMA, 3C over existing reconditioned aggregate base. Part E - School Road Paving Near Guardrail The Scope of Work includes: recondition of existing aggregate base and placement of 3” HMA. The intent of this portion of the project to pave School Road adjacent to the guardrail to provide a uniform and consistent elevation 27” between the top of pavement and the top of the face of the guardrail.
