Southeastern Oakland County Water Authority (SOCWA) and Southeastern Oakland County Resource Recovery Authority (SOCRRA) (“SOCWA and SOCRRA” or the “Authorities”) are seeking proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants (the “proposer”) to conduct the Financial and Compliance audit of their operations. The contract will be for 3 years, with two 1 year extensions, covering the years ending June 30, 2025, through June 30, 2027 (3 years).
Each request for information within the Request for Proposal (RFP) document must be completed with a response. All information requested herein shall be submitted on or before the date and time indicated. Firms not responding to the questions may be classified as unresponsive. The bidder must initial any corrections.
The response must follow the format outlined in this proposal. Supplemental information should be provided in additional sections following the same numbering scheme. The response should be concise and complete.
Any additional written material such as professional records, certifications, etc. your firm may think important should be attached and submitted to augment the data included in the proposal. It is not necessary to include expensive custom binders, displays, or other materials unless the firm believes such materials are necessary to the proposal. All costs incurred in the preparation and presentation of the proposal shall be wholly borne by the prospective bidder.
Proprietary Information: The information provided in the RFP is intended solely for internal use by the Proposer in its Proposal preparation. All information contained herein is proprietary and shall not be distributed to any third party, except as required by law.
RFP Proposal Information Controlling: Each proposal that is received by the deadline will be evaluated on its merit and completeness of all requested information. In preparing proposals, Respondents are advised to rely only upon the contents of this RFP and accompanying documents and any written clarifications or addenda issued by the Authorities. If a Respondent finds a discrepancy, error, or omission in the RFP documents, or requires any written addendum thereto, the Respondent is requested to notify the RFP contact so that written clarification may be sent to all prospective Respondents.
