Description

The scope of work for the project includes the following:
1. Demolition of four (4) variable frequency drives (VFDs), (2) vertical turbine pumps, and adjacent valves and piping.
2. Install (1) new vertical turbine pump, (3) check valves, (1) butterfly valves, and adjacent piping. Replace concrete pipe supports in kind.
3. Epoxy paint all pipe, pumps, and valves and ceiling structural steel on lower level. Include abrasive blasting for surface preparation.
4. Replace existing corroded flange bolts with stainless steel bolts.
5. Install (3) new VFDs.
6. Oversee controls work by Utility Instrumentation Service (UIS) (covered by Allowance)

Sealed proposals for the 8 MILE BOOSTER PUMP STATION REHABILITATION, M-732 will be received by the Oak Park City Clerk at the City Hall, 14000 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park, MI 48237, until 2:00 P.M., local time, Wednesday, January 24th, 2024, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The City of Oak Park, Michigan reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion in whole or in part for any reason or for no reason at all. Any informalities or irregularities in
bids may be waived by the City of Oak Park for any reason, or for no reason at all, in the sole discretion of the City. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual
date of opening thereof.
