The City requests design, construction administration and construction inspection services for the Woody Debris Management project. As this project is planned to receive federal funds through a Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF) Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grant administered by Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), the successful bidder shall meet the construction administration requirements of the MEDC, included herein. The City anticipates the design will include aerial surveying, GIS analysis, field reconnaissance, permitting, easement negotiation, construction drawings and specifications, construction administration, and construction inspection.
Upon receipt of all bid documents from the Consultant, the City will perform the construction bid letting. The Consultant will then be responsible for all construction administration and inspection services. The City’s Grant Administrator will serve as the liaison between the Consultant and the MEDC.
Sealed proposals will be accepted until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025 to provide the City of Midland Water Reclamation Department with professional engineering/design, construction administration and construction inspection services, in accord with the attached specifications and standard instructions. Technical questions about the proposal shall be directed to purchasing@midland-mi.org.
