RFP-CC-10012009 - Central Dispatch Feasibility Study

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Livonia and Canton Charter Township are interested in exploring the feasibility of a combined central dispatch center and invite qualified vendors to submit proposals based on the requirements defined in this Request for Proposal document. Part one of this feasibility process, radio system alternatives, has been addressed by both cities using in-house experts and outside consultants. This request is seeking information on the next two parts of the process. Part two encompasses the capital start-up costs related to the central dispatch location – facility, dispatch equipment, 911 and information management infrastructure.
