The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the PARKING LOT 21 IMPROVEMENTS project until 10:00:00 AM local time on TUESDAY, MARCH 12, 2024 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
RECONSTRUCTION OF SOUTHERN PORTION OF CITY LOT 21 NOT REPAVED IN 2023. WORK INCLUDES NEW CURB AND GUTTER ALONG EAST SIDE, CATCH BASINS WITH STORM PIPE INSTALLED TO BLACKSTONE ST, GEOGRID, 8 INCH AGGREGATE BASE AND 4 INCHES OF HMA, IN THE CITY OF JACKSON, JACKSON COUNTY, MICHIGAN.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.
No prebid will be held. Contractor's can direct their questions to Shelly Allard at sallard@cityofjackson.org.
Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Streets (A).
