The City of Hamtramck is seeking qualified contractors to submit bids for the comprehensive repairs and ongoing maintenance of its existing water and sewer infrastructure. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Repair of water main breaks, Replacement and repair of fire hydrants, Replacement and repair of gate valves, Rehabilitation of existing sewer system components, Repair and replacement of manholes and catch basins.
This contract will cover a three-year period, commencing on or about September 1, 2025, and concluding approximately December 31, 2028, with the option to extend for an additional two years contingent upon satisfactory performance.

SEALED BIDS will be accepted at the offices of the City Clerk. Bid must be clearly labeled “HAMTRAMCK 2025-2028 Emergency Sewer and Water Repair”

The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened.
