ITB-fh-05-06-1263 - ProTech Tactical Ballistic Vests

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Farmington Hills Police Department requires the purchase and delivery of eight (8) each tactical vests. This entry vest will be utilized for high risk raid/raid type operations that demand extra protection from small arms fire. Specifications reference a specific make and model in order to establish a minimum acceptable standard. This standard is not intended to eliminate any manufacturer from the bidding process. Deviations shall be clearly called out and explained. Failure to follow these instructions may be cause for elimination of bid from consideration. Compliance with the "spirit" of the specification is not acceptable. Some deviations from specification may be accepted provided it is determined to be in the best interest of the City. However, the City of Farmington Hills holds sole discretion whether a product meets the needs and standards of the Police Department.
