Summary of Specifications:
The City of Farmington Hills, Michigan intends to implement an Advisory AM radio system for usage during emergency situations. As an integral component of the cities Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), companies’ technical capabilities and references are required for consideration. 

The City of Farmington Hills is a metropolitan suburban municipality with a population of 85,000 residents. The City is 33.3 square miles. 

The selected vendor will provide all necessary work associated with development and installation of an Advisory AM radio system to serve the residents and businesses of the City. The work includes but is not limited to; 

• FCC license submittal • Correspondence with licensing authorities • Provide and install required equipment • Make operational and test all required equipment • Train staff for complete understanding of system • Provide any requested ongoing training and support of the system • All necessary utility connections • Obtain any necessary city building permits. Permit fees will be waived
