Description

The City of Dexter is seeking professional cleaning services at 3515 Broad St. starting in November 2021. The scope of work is limited to the interior of the primary building and small office out-building (cold storage barn is not included). Anticpiated cleaning activities include:

Sanatizing/cleaning of visible surfaces within offices, including desks, cabinet tops, chairs, keyboards, monitors, etc. (standard office environment)
Vaccuming of capret and cleaning of all hard surface floors
Dusting of baseboards and other visible surfaces
Replace toilet rolls and handpaper rolls, refill handsoap dispensers (these items will be provided by the City of Dexter)
Sanatizing/cleaning of all bathroom and kitchen areas
Santaizing/cleaning of door handles and all entry ways
Interior cleaning of windows
Collection and disposal of all garbage (on-site dumpster or totes will be provided), and replace with new garbage bags
Notify City staff of any building maintence issues found during cleaning
Selected vendor will not be expected to clean areas that are under construction

Optional Bid Opportunities: Two optional bid opportunities are provided, but separated from the primary scope of work. Bidders may choose to not bid on these items, if this is the case, please mark the form with a N/A.These bid opportunities may be awarded to the same vendor, different vendors, or not awarded. These alternate bids include:

Twice per year cleaning of all exterior windows
Once per month cleaning of basement area and office outbuilding, including dusting and vacuuming, where appropriate

Pre-Bid Meeting: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and building walkthrough will be held at 3515 Broad St. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00am.

Bid Submission Instructions: Bids must be submitted to the City of Dexter, 8123 Main St., 2nd Floor, Dexter, MI 48130 and received by Friday, October 29, 2021 by 10:00 am. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked on the outside with the bidder’s name, address, and “Bid for City Hall Building Cleaning Services).
