REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

For Parks and City Property Lawn Maintenance Services

Sealed proposals endorsed “Parks and City Property Lawn Maintenance Services”, will be received at the Department of Public Services Office, 851 S. Eton Street, Birmingham, Michigan, 48009; until 11:00 am Friday, March 1, 2024 after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Results will be posted on MITN.

The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to provide lawn care, mowing and seasonal clean ups of approximately 64 City-owned parks, properties, and street-right of-ways including Woodward Avenue Median. Additionally, the bid will include the mowing of private lots that have been determined to be in violation of the City’s Grass and Noxious Weeds ordinance.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting with a question and answer session will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Department of Public Services. Bidders must register for the pre-bid meeting by 3 pm Tuesday, February 20, 2024 by contacting Brendan McGaughey, 248-530-1715, or bmcgaughey@bhamgov.org.

This work must be performed as specified in accordance with the specifications contained in the Request For Proposals (RFP). The RFP, including the Specifications, may be obtained online from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network at http://www.mitn.info or by contacting Carrie Laird, listed below.

The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an agreement has been executed.
