Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for the design, construction, installation and all other related items for LED exterior lighting improvements within the Washington Township municipal campus will be received at the Charter Township of Washington Clerk's Office, 57900 Van Dyke Avenue, Washington, MI 48094, until 3:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud. The Township currently has a maximum of $87,000 for the project budget based on grant funds from the State of Michigan EECBG program to complete the work in the lump sum project. These principal items include, but are not limited to: 1. Utilize a conceptual layout plan that outlines the following lighting improvements: a. Install a total of twelve (12) LED lighting fixtures (145 Watt maximum), luminaires and poles in the parking lot and along the Van Dyke Avenue frontage. b. Retrofit six (6) existing high pressure sodium parking lot fixtures with the LED lighting fixtures (80 Watt maximum). c. Photometrics must conform to performance criteria outlined in the project specifications. A photometric contour plan shall be included as part of the bid submittal.
