IFB-KB-06092015 - Turn Out Gear

Summary of Specifications:
The Township of Washington is seeking to evaluate up to three sets of turn out gear prior to making a selection for a multi-year contract for turn out gear for its Fire Department. The selected vendors will provide three sets of gear (pants and coat) for a 30 day evaluation period. After that evaluation, the Township will award the contract for turn out gear. The Township will purchase 16 sets of turnout gear in the first year of the contract and anticipates to purchase 10 sets in Year 2 and 10 sets in Year 3. The selected vendor will individually fit each fire fighter for the turn out gear. Additionally, the Township is requesting quotes on other personnel gear and information on other non-firefighting apparel. After review, the Township may negotiate pricing and contract terms for these items.
