2021-03 - Technology for New Campus

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to obtain capabilities and bids from experienced bidder’s interested in providing Audio/Visual, Physical Security, Door Access, and Data Cabling Installation for The Charter Township of Orion’s new Municipal Complex.  Bidders may bid on one or more of the elements within this proposal.

The Charter Township of Orion is constructing a new Township Hall and Sheriff Substation building that will require Data, Audio/Visual, Physical Security and Door Access. The bidders will provide the following:

• Data network for the entire building INCLUDING switches and wireless access points to obtain an internal and external network infrastructure.
• Audio/Visual system(s) for the Trustee Board Room, Community Room, meeting rooms, employee break areas along with digital signage for information sharing in public areas.
• Physical Security System to monitor and maintain intrusion detection, video surveillance, and controlled access to ensure safety of the staff and patrons.
• This Request for Proposal is for the labor and product described in the Scope of Services here within for the Orion Township Municipal Complex located at 2323 Joslyn Road. All other equipment will be provided by The Charter Township of Orion. The bidder will work with Orion Township personnel and partners such as, but not limited to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and Orion Neighborhood Television.
