The Township of Independence owns the recreation and rental facility located at Bay Court Park, 6970 Andersonville Rd, Clarkston, MI 48346-2706, and denoted as Rental Facility herein. The Township of Independence seeks to develop and improve the Rental Facility based on the following Vision:
To provide a superb recreational experience with exceptional service; and to attract residents, business owners, and visitors to live, work, and play in the Township of Independence.
The Township of Independence is seeking individual operators, joint ventures, orentities interested in providing catering services, including liquor sales andservices, to serve as a participating partner under MCR 436.1041 for eventsat the Township-owned Brady Lodge.

A. Respondents must submit one (1) original hard copy (marked “Original”), three (3)hard copies and one (1) Digital copy on a USB drive or other compatible device in asealed envelope or package to the Township no later than February 6 at 4:00 pm.
Envelopes or packages containing proposals must be clearly addressed as describedbelow to ensure proper delivery and to avoid being opened by the Township beforethe deadline for receipt.

Proposals are requested to be received by the Clerk’s Office by February 6 at 4:00 pm. Proposals may not be delivered orally, by facsimile transmission, by other telecommunication, or electronic means.
B. Respondents assume the risk of the method of dispatch chosen. The Townshipassumes no responsibility for delays caused by any delivery service. Postmarking bythe due date will not substitute for actual proposal receipt by the Township. ARespondent’s failure to submit its proposal prior to the deadline will cause theproposal to be rejected. Late proposals or amendments will not be opened oraccepted for evaluation. The Township of Independence reserves the right to reject any orall proposals or to accept any proposal or portion of a proposal deemed to be in theTownship’s best interest.
