22-003 - Brush Skid Unit

The Brighton Area Fire Authority will be accepting pricing for a drop in Brush Fire Skid unit. The Skid you shall meet the requirements as outlined below. This skid unit shall be constructed to match as closely to the attached photos as possible, for ease of operations.

• Tank- UPF Defender 3E Skid Tank for short bed Ford F-350 short bed 150-gallon capacity. With a water fill tower that includes a strainer.
• Yanmar 9 horsepower diesel motor with electric start. 
• Vibration damping motor mounts, suitable for outdoor exposure.
• Hale HP75-YD9 pump.
• All plumbing and valves shall be Stainless steel.
• 2.5” Stainless steel intake plumbing with 2.5” intake which shall have NST Female threads.
• 1.5” Stainless steel discharge plumbing, with 1’5” discharge which shall have NST male threads.
• Flexible lines should be included on the inlet and outlet of the pump to allow all components to move separately.
• One Hannay Stainless Steel Reel EPF7130-25-26 with dual hose rollers, 150’ of ¾” booster line red in color.
• Task Force Tips nozzle DS1040P with a pistol grip.
• The control panel shall have the following controls, all controls must be weather and moisture tight.

• Push-button start.
• Push-button reel re-wind.
• Master power switch.
• LED work light.
• Pressure gauge.
• Suction gauge.
