PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Replace and improve existing parking lot and sidewalks. Parking lot should be adequately sloped and drained to accommodate storm water and guaranteed not to pool. Proposals should include quotes for the following items and any additional items necessary to complete project. Please include how long prices are good for and estimate of possible price increases for Spring 2022.

Apply for and acquire permits, bonds
Prepare site (soil erosion measures, etc.)
Move shed and dumpsters
Widen entrance drive for passing traffic
Shrink island around flagpole for passing traffic (if required/recommended)
Remove and replace concrete curbing
Clean storm retention basin; replace spillways (if needed/recommended)
Assess integrity of storm pipes
Remove and replace concrete sidewalks (as needed)
Remove existing asphalt
Grade existing aggregate base material and compact (proof rolled and compaction tested)
Place 4” of new asphalt (give type of material to be used)
Paint new pavement markings per existing layout
Restore behind new curbing (seed and mulch)
Estimate cost of undercutting poor soils (if needed) and type of material to be used

PROPOSAL SHOULD INCLUDE:

Description of the work to be done as outlined above
An overhead drawing of parking lot and surrounding area showing locations of all improvements
A proposed timeline for each step and total project
A list of clients with telephone contacts for whom the proposer has performed services similar to those described in this request
Fees
The proposer shall purchase and maintain Workers Compensation Insurance, General Liability Insurance ($1,000,000.00 minimum) and Contractual Insurance and include certificates or proof of purchase; valid insurance certificates must be provided by the winning contractor before any work is performed on the premises
Provide information on licenses, bonds, industry certifications and industry association memberships
Other relevant information in view of the project description that the proposer deems suitable
