Description

The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AAATA) seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide general Architecture and Engineering (A/E or A-E) Services.

The successful Contractor’s office(s) and staff will be familiar with state, county, and city regulations, ordinances, etc., be available to attend virtual and onsite meetings, and perform field and onsite inspections, as necessary. Experience with transit and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations, requirements, and programs is required. No set amount of work is guaranteed.

AAATA intends to award a contract with a base period of two (2) years with five (5) possible one-year renewal options.

This procurement will be conducted using the Federal Government’s Brooks Act method. The Brooks Act, also known as Qualifications Based Selection (QBS), requires that contracts for architectural and engineering services be negotiated strictly on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications for the type of professional services required, at fair and reasonable prices. See Section 3 Instructions to Proposers.
