Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Bid shall be for the 2019-20 school year (July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020). Prices are to be firm for the year. During the 2018-19 school term an average of 4,200 pizzas were purchased each month. 2. No delivery or fuel charges will be paid by Rockwood Child Nutrition Services. 3. Pizzas specified are to be delivered on days requested in the Rockwood School District. A district map of the school locations is enclosed. 4. The types of pizza we anticipate serving are cheese, pepperoni, hamburger and sausage. 5. A legible delivery ticket must accompany each delivery, showing name of school, date of delivery, number of pizzas and total cost. Tips and delivery charges are not paid by Rockwood School District, Child Nutrition Services. 6. All pizzas covered under this contract are to be processed and delivered under the most sanitary conditions and at a minimum temperature of 140 degrees. 7. Quote your price for a large size 8 cut pizza with consistent size pieces. State the actual size of the pizza. 8. Elementary schools as shown will need at least one delivery per school site per month. 9. Secondary schools will need several deliveries each week on specified dates to serve the volume of students. 10. If inclement weather forces cancellation of school, the supplier will be informed by public radio, television, or the Rockwood website before 7:00 A.M. on that day.
