Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County is seeking a Contractor for electrical and low voltage work at St Charles County Police Department in the Bureau of Special Enforcement. This Invitation for Bid should only include Phase 1 the other Phases of this project should not be included in your proposal. All executed work must meet the following specifications:  The Contractor is notified of wall details in area of work. As built drawings are included in IFB documents, and contractor should note walls may have steel security mesh behind gypsum panels, and walls may be built of concrete masonry unit(CMU) that are reinforced and grout filled.  The Contractor is to remove all existing lighting and replace with new LED lighting fixtures as specified on plan E2.1. and Page 18 of PDF drawing set. All fixtures in space are be replaced with LED fixtures including open office, offices, break room, and conference room.  The Contractor is to trench concrete floor of conference room, provide a floor box(s) with three (3) 1” conduits to accommodate one (1) power circuit, six (6) Cat 6a runs, and one (1) HDMI cable. Contractor shall repair concrete floor once work is complete. Conduits from floor box(s) to extend up wall to above finished ceiling. (Plan E2.2 Note 2)Floor box trim plate to be black metal furniture floor plate with KO to allow for black flexible metal conduit to run up furniture leg. Contractor to wire one (1) outlet mounted to the middle underside of table, run provided HDMI cable to middle of table surface, run and terminate two (2) Cat 6a cables in three (3) designated locations on furniture plan.  The Contractor will provide all metal clad (MC) cable, conduit, wire, cable, hangers, boxes, connectors, wiring devices, and any other miscellaneous parts to provide a complete and finished product ready for occupancy.  The Contractor shall be responsible for removing any circuits per plan back to the closest junction box and tagging circuit as spare in electrical panel as well as on the junction box cover. A note should be made on plan set as to where this is located in building.  The Contractor is to use all existing circuits in space before running conduit and pulling additional circuits from electrical panel.  The Contractor shall be responsible for updating panel schedules in panels where additional circuits are added out of.  The Contractor shall label all receptacle wall plates with corresponding panel and circuit breaker on clear label tape with black font.  The Contractor shall provide alternate cost for occupancy sensors for 3 offices, open office area, and break room. The office occupancy sensors are to be dual technology with passive infrared and ultrasonic sensing (Legrand DW-100 or comparable).  Contractor to provide alternate cost for conference room 0-10V Lutron Vive dimming with PowPak FCJ-010 control module, LRF2-OCR2B-P-WH Ceiling mount occupancy sensor, wall mounted PJ2-3BRL-GWH-L01 Pico 2 button wireless remote with raise/lower, and labor to install system.  The Contractor is to add fire alarm notification device to space off of existing circuit in bordering room.  The Owner is to provide all monitors, SMART board, HDMI cables, TV mount brackets, and PC for conference room. The contractor shall provide all other material for a finished install.
