Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 The loop length to be supported by POTS service must be a minimum of 11,000 feet. 3.2 Long Distance Service 1. Provider must be capable of providing long distance service 2. Provider must be capable of routing long distance calls to University’s preferred carrier, AT&T or CenturyLink 3.3 Service Provisioning and Response Time 1. Service provisioning for new service must be completed within 5 business days 2. Service changes for existing service must be completed within 5 business days 3. Repair response times for non-emergency issues must be 8 business hours a. Non-emergency issues are those that occur that are not classified, by the University, as Emergency 4. Repair response for emergency issues must be 2 hours a. Emergency issues are those that include severe damaged and eliminates a complete or significant portion of services 3.4 The Following POTS Line Features Must be Supported: • Call Transfer • Call Hold • 3 Way Calling • Call Forward • Call Forward Busy • Call Forward No answer • Caller ID • Autodial/Ringdown • Line Suspension\Restore 3.5 The Following POTS Services Must be Supported: • Fax Line • Emergency Phone • Elevator Phone • Alarm Line • Ringdown • Credit Card (PCI Compliance) • Analog Voice
