Specifications include, but are not limited to: ONE TRIP CARGO CONTAINER REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS: This unit shall be built to specifications standards equal to or better than those used by Pan Ocean Container Co. Ltd. and shall be in original structural condition. 3.2.1 Container shall be a “one trip” container, “like new” and in undamaged condition. 3.2.2 Container shall be in original configuration and not an aftermarket configuration. Any modifications of the original container shall meet the specifications given in this bid document. 3.2.3 The container shall be C.S.C. certified. 3.2.4 All original marking plates (consolidate plate) shall be stamped metal and remain riveted to the container intact and legible and shall include: Date of Manufacture, Owner’s Serial Number, Owner’s Model Number, Customs Approval, Wood Treatment and C.S.C. Approval Number. 3.2.5 Original owners name and painted markings shall be removed from container or painted over. 3.2.6 Container Color: Container shall be painted a neutral color unless otherwise specified and accepted herein under “Optional Modifications”. 3.2.7 Exterior Dimensions: 20 ft. long x 8 ft. wide x 8 ft. 6 in. tall (not a “high cube container”). 3.2.8 Flooring: The floor shall be treated and finished plywood as per Pan Ocean Container Co. Ltd. specifications. 3.2.9 Structural members and sheathing shall be COR TEN steel construction and shall be prepped, joined and finished as per Pan Ocean Container Co. Ltd. specifications. 3.2.10 Door Configuration: A. Unit shall be an “open side container”. Entire length of one (1) 20 ft. side is configured with two (2) pairs of bi-fold doors. This configuration shall be the original build configuration and not an aftermarket modification. B. The doors shall latch by means of the original locking rod cam locking mechanisms and all doors shall have complete door seal gaskets. C. Cam lock rod handles shall be located at minimum 30 in. above bottom of container (ground level). As opposed to handles located at the floor of the container.
