The project consists of a new, freestanding multi-purpose facility of approximately 88,000 square feet and associated site improvements. Site work will be required to be orchestrated to allow for continual access to and operation of Nixa High School. Site work will include new parking lot, sidewalks, pedestrian paving, and landscaping. Existing utilities will also be reconfigured to accommodate new utility routing and connection. The new facility will be one-story with a partial mezzanine and be comprised of a community room, coaches offices, locker rooms, classroom, restrooms, concessions, and turf field. The building will be constructed of a rigid frame fabric building system, concrete retaining walls and foundations, and a prefabricated canopy at the entry. Floor construction will be concrete slab on grade, synthetic grass surfacing system, and concrete and steel elevated slabs for the mezzanine. Interior walls will be constructed of CMU block and metal stud and drywall. The exterior envelope and roof will be comprised of the rigid frame fabric building system fabric, and aluminum glazing systems. The infill area and mezzanine will be sprinklered and will have an elevator.
