Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected Lobbyist or Firm will provide lobbying services to the City of Lake Saint Louis that protect and promote the City’s interests. Professional services to be provided by the Lobbyist or Firm will include, but not limited to analysis, advice, advocacy, facilitation, and monitoring as outlined in the following: A. Identify and review the introduction of pertinent legislation and regulations that may affect the City of Lake Saint Louis.; B. Track progress of pertinent legislation that has been introduced.; C. Facilitate and foster relationships with legislators and statewide stakeholders.; D. Communicate on a regular basis with the City concerning the status, prospects, movement, opposition, support, etc., of pertinent legislation or proposed regulations. Upon request, coordinate and participate in scheduled conference calls or meetings with City officials.; E. Represent and advocate, as designated, the City’s position on legislative matters to elected members of the Missouri General Assembly, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders.; F. Provide advice and recommendations on legislative goals and strategies for the City of Lake Saint Louis.; G. Recommend development of appropriate coalitions and participation in joint association with other cities on common interests and of benefit to the City of Lake Saint Louis.; H. Monitor the status of any pertinent legislation that may impact the City of Lake Saint Louis.
