MoDOT seeks qualified bidders to remove and reinstall approximately 41,000 square feet EPDM roofing. Contractor to remove existing roofing and walk pads. Contractor to remove any damaged wet or bubbled insulation and replace with new down to metal deck. Contractor to remove, reinstall all parts of roofing including but not limited to roof vents, lighting rods, ground wire, mechanical systems, skylights, and roof drains. Discard material shall be removed from site and disposed of in a proper manner. Contractor shall supply and install new walk pads as depicted on plans. Contractor to insure a fully function roof system and provide a 20-year manufactures warranty. An infrared roof scan was performed. The report indicates a few areas of moisture. There were no major moisture areas found. Most locations showed up at either a leak area or failing leak repair area. All locations have been marked with spray paint along with active leak areas. See locations 1-6 noted on the report. Any leak found have been repaired. Contractor shall include in their bid the removal and replacement of 1600 square foot of insulation that could need replaced. Prior to contractor removing or replacement any insulation MoDOT shall approve. In the event any portion of the full depth replacement is not used contractor will provide a credit back to the project overall mound at the square foot price contractor provides on the bid form. Contractors will be allowed to utilize a portion of MoDOT's parking lot for loading and unloading material while work is being performed. Contractor to dispose of all debris off site. Prior to starting work on the site, General Contractor shall submit OSHA 10 card and valid State ID with picture of each individual working on site.
