Metal Pole Fence Construction requirements shall include, but not be limited to: There is roughly 800’ of linear fence. ▪ Fence Pipe is to be #1 Schedule 40 or better ▪ #1 – 6 bar .75” schedule 40 pipe panels with 6 uprights • Fence pipe shall be 2.875” x 10 Line Posts ▪ All connections shall be welded. And every bar welded to the post ▪ No splits in any of the pipe are allowed ▪ Line posts shall be set at 10’ centers • Fence Posts are to be constructed with 4.5” x 10’ Posts at corners o Posts to be installed at 60” above finished ground o 60” buried under ground o Posts are to have metal caps welded on in order to keep out moisture • Fence Gates – There will be 5 in total o Gates must be weld-on style hinges that allow for gate to swing 180 degrees to allow for a chain to hold open. All gates will require a chain o Gates must be equipped with a sliding bolt latch – 1” pin diameter and 6” of travel ▪ Aside from where two gates meet where the is no latch necessary o H Braces. ▪ Must consist of 3- 4.5” x 10’ posts AND 4:2.375” x 7’ Horizontal braces. ▪ From top of H Brace first horizontal brace to be 15” lower, then 15” per horizontal brace thereafter.
