Specifications include, but are not limited to: Southeast Missouri State University (“Southeast” or “University”) wishes to contract with one or more firms (“contractor”) to provide services related to the identification, recruitment, and hiring of executive level positions. Upon notification from the University to begin a new search, the contractor must be able to provide the following services: 1.1 Evaluate the leadership needs of the University in the specified executive level area. Executive level areas may include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following job titles: Vice President, Provost, Dean, and Assistant to the President. 1.2 In consultation with the appropriate University personnel, develop a written position description and timetable for search, which best ensures filling the position on or before the mutually agreed upon date. 1.3 Develop a comprehensive recruitment plan for the position including advertisements in appropriate publications and the solicitation of applications of potential candidates to ensure a robust pool of candidates. 1.4 Recommend and participate in a screening process – including techniques for assessing applicant resumes, reference call procedures, and conduct of background checks on semi-finalists selected in the search process.
