Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to develop concept designs for future land use options for redevelopment in what has been identified as the West Clay Triangle (the “Triangle”). The area in question is approximately 44 acres in size with 26 owner groups and bordered by the following City streets: West Clay, Droste Road and Duchesne. The selected consultant will facilitate public outreach efforts, develop conceptual elements based on the input received through the public participation efforts, and prepare recommendations for the design of future land use options. Design recommendations should be consistent with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and any other relative comprehensive plan(s) established by the City. The redevelopment of the Triangle is a priority project for the City and its overall strategy of diversifying development within the City. The redevelopment project goal is to create a comprehensive master plan for the Triangle that addresses the following criterion. A.Public Accessibility – The City is undertaking a major road and sidewalk upgrade program in the region and the recommended development plan should utilize and enhance this public works project.
