Remove existing concrete parking lot. All excavated material will be hauled offsite and disposed of in a legal manner by contractor. Existing concrete vertical curbs, sidewalks, 10’x30’ dumpster pad, and entrance way to remain in place. After demo, the contractor must allow time for County to install a trench drain. Supply and install 7” compacted Type 5 stone. Supply and install new asphalt pavement over 7" of compacted Type 5 stone. Contractor to pave parking lot with new 4" Type C asphalt pavement rolled and compacted as required. Contractor is responsible to install and maintain all traffic and safety barricades before, during and after the project. Contactor is responsible for locating utilities before construction start. St. Charles County to pay all permit fees as required. Subcontractor to submit for permit if required. Access to parking lot and building must be maintained at all times in case of emergencies. Line Striping Repaint parking stalls and pavement markings with traffic marking paint. Layout to be similar to existing. Layout must be submitted and approved by County before execution.
