1.1.1. Contractor Shall develop and implement a water treatment program to include all boiler systems, all cooling towers, all hot water loops, chilled water loops, waste water systems, and all routine services for Reverse Osmosis pretreatment equipment. In addition, the water treatment program will include all recommended chemical products, any required equipment and professional consulting services. 1.1.2. Contractor shall improve upon program safety and reduce program risk / liability. 1.1.3. Contractor shall reduce fuel and electrical consumption through improved heat transfer efficiency. 1.1.4. Contractor shall minimize scale, corrosion, fouling, and microbiological growth, which create deposits on heat transfer surfaces. 1.1.5. Contractor shall minimize repair and maintenance costs associated with replacement and cleaning of equipment due to scale, corrosion, fouling, or microbiological activity. 1.1.6. Contractor shall provide professional, knowledgeable and involved service personnel to ensure program success. 1.1.7. Contractor shall accurately monitor program results and communicate appropriate recommendations with quantifiable business oriented justifications. 1.1.8. Contractor shall thoroughly train University personnel on the implementation and control of the program.
