2.1.1 The vendor shall provide a Vacuum Pump Trailer, which meets or exceeds the specifications contained in this document. 2.1.2 It is the intent of these specifications to describe Vacuum Pump Trailer in sufficient detail to secure bids on comparable equipment. a. All parts which are necessary in order to provide a complete unit, ready for operation, shall be included in the bid and shall conform in strength, quality of workmanship and material to that which is usually provided the trade in general. b. Any variance from the specifications or standards of quality must be clearly pointed out in writing by the bidder. 2.1.3 Brochures and specifications should be included with the bid package. a. Vendor shall specify the manufacturer of products being offered on the face of his bid. 2.1.4 Units shall be new and unused current 2024 or 2025 models. 2.1.5 All equipment, parts and material shall be new, unused, the manufacturer’s latest model and in current production. a. All materials shall have physical and chemical properties to withstand the intended service. b. Equipment design shall have sufficient excess capacity for durability and safety. 2.1.6 Tank a. Capacity 500 gallons. b. Base Frame: Steel. c. Tank Material: A36 Carbon Steel. d. Site Eyes: (2) 5-inch glass. e. Manway: 25-inch Rear Mount Swing Door. f. Hose Rack: (2) Hooks on rear of tank. 2.1.7 Engine a. Engine: Gas or Diesel (Gass preferred). b. 9 to 10 HP Honda, Kohler, or Briggs Stratton. c. E-Start. d. Power Transmission: Belt Driven.
