Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bidder agrees to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to provide an interior renovation of the University Physicians Medical Building – 3rd Floor; (1) Project consists of Partial renovation (~7,285 SF) of existing 19,000 SF 3th Floor of University Physicians Medical Building, IEBC 2021 Alteration Level 2. (2) Demolition shall consist of Drywall, Ceilings, Finishes, Flooring, MEP in areas designated as full renovation. (3) Architectural work shall consist of Flooring, Base, Interior Partitions, Paint, Ceiling, Toilet Accessories, Fire Extinguishers as required for renovation. Patching as required in partial renovation areas. (4) Mechanical work shall consist of re-use of existing equipment where applicable and new ductwork, air terminal units, air devices, piping, and ductwork/ piping accessories to accommodate renovation. (5) Plumbing work shall consist of replacing/adding new plumbing fixtures and modification to the existing domestic water and sanitary/vent systems to accommodate renovation and new layout. Fire protection work will consist of demolishing sprinkler heads and arm-over piping where the ceiling is being removed/replaced and installing new heads and piping per the new ceiling plan layout. Electrical work shall consist of Lighting and Electrical updates to accommodate renovation. Some electrical additions in partial renovation areas. (6) Electrical work shall consist of lighting, power, fire alarm, paging, access control and data updates to accommodate renovation. Some electrical renovations in partial renovation areas. Structural work consists of concrete, geofoam, and plywood subflooring infill at sound booth pit. (7) Installation of new sound booth.
