Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) utilizes training and credentialing services for certifying Missouri Peer Specialists. The Department of Mental Health provides Peer Support services for substance use disorder treatment and mental health recovery. The Missouri Credentialing board is the only single feasible source from which to acquire Peer Specialist Training and Credentialing since the Missouri Credentialing Board is the exclusive affiliate board in Missouri to administer exams and credentials through the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium. As a result, this meets the criteria as a single feasible source under section 34.044, RSMo. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
